Value Add VC / Sacra
Midjourney sells exactly one thing: flat-rate subscriptions through Discord and its web app. Four tiers run roughly $10, $30 and $60 per month, with a ~$120 'Mega' tier at the top — billed monthly or at a ~20% annual discount. There is no free tier (only limited web trials), no API product, and no enterprise contracts.
Because there is no sales motion and no paid acquisition, effectively all revenue is self-serve subscription — an unusually pure model that has kept the company profitable since around its sixth month, at roughly $4.7M of estimated revenue per employee.
